RIBA London Architects Group Launch

The Department Store in Brixton has been the location for the new local RIBA groups launch. These groups are established for architects in the different regions of London to network and share information. For this occasion, each RIBA member has been invited for the launch of a new platform to meet fellow architects in their respective local community.

The groups are split into the following areas:

  • North London

  • South West London

  • South East London

  • East London

  • West London

Each Group had the possibility to present their programs in a 5 minute presentation, the proposals were indicatively oriented about:

  • Local building & practice visits

  • CPD events

  • Supporting Local School of Architecture

  • Mentoring

  • Practice Management

The keyword of the day was: Get involved!

An explicit invite to be active in the architecture community inducing you to communicate online, attend meetings and events or just to be kept up to date with what other architects are doing, knowing that your local RIBA group can support you.

The aims of RIBA London Architects Groups are:

  • Be Represented – Political Engagement

  • Be Informed – Education links

  • Be Supported – Peer Support

  • Be Connected – Cultural Outreach

  • Be Outstanding – Business Development
