Architect@Work - United Kingdom

We could not start the new year without visiting the sixth edition of ARCHITECT@WORK London, the two-day worldwide trade fair aimed at architects, designers and specifiers focused this year on the light subject, with an extensive seminar programme.

Lighting is a rapidly growing field challenging architects and designers to consider how to incorporate and balance changing technologies with the needs of daily life in our homes, offices and public spaces. Experts discussed lighting innovations, design and sustainability as well as how light impacts on wellness and our greater urban landscape.

Six talks, three on each day they have covered these topics incorporating some of the best names in lighting design and architecture. Visitors were also treated to a special lighting installation on site and the RIBA pop-up bookshop focused the spotlight on titles with a lighting focus.
